இந்தப் படத்தை கவுதம் மேனனின் போட்டோன் கதாஸ் நிறுவனம் தயாரிக்கிறது.

இந்தப் படத்தின் தலைப்புக்குக் கீழே டேக்லைனாக 'மிஷன் -1 நியூயார்க் சிட்டி' என குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளனர். வரும் 2012 ஏப்ரலில் படப்பிடிப்பு துவங்கும் என்றும், 2013 பொங்கலுக்கு வெளியாகும் என்றும் கவுதம் மேனன் தரப்பில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இசைக்கு ஏ ஆர் ரஹ்மான், ஒளிப்பதிவுக்கு மனோஜ் பரமஹம்ஸா, பாடலுக்கு தாமரை, கலை இயக்கத்துக்கு ராஜீவன் என கவுதம் மேனனின் பரிவாரம் பட்டையைக் கிளப்ப தயாராகி வருகிறது.

                                     Make way for another biggie, yes an official announcement has been made on the project for which Gautham Vasudev Menon and Ilayathalapathy Vijay are teaming up. Those who saw few of the leading newspapers would have definitely caught a glimpse of this film�s advertisement.Titled 'Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru', the film will see Vijay essaying protagonist, direction by Gautham Menon and production by the latter's banner, Photon Kathaas. This film is said to be a sci-fi thriller and boasts off a huge budget. The film will cater to Vijay's mass fans with Gautham perfect packaging.

                                                          However, the project will go on floors only in 2012, thanks to prior commitments of both Vijay and Gautham. "Other details related to the project are being worked out. Things will be made official soon", sources say.

                                           AR Rahman is expected to compose music for 'Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru', which will be shot in foreign locales, including Gautham's favourite country, the United States. A top actress may be roped in to play the heroine.Even before the film has gone on floors, a few sources say that the film will be a series and the name of the film is what that seems to have added to this buzz.
