A.L.Vijay (Director) : My dream comes true to work with Vijay as i'm a huge fan of Ilayathalapathy. In fact, i recalls bunking college to watch Kadhalluku Mariyadai. And as a typical fan, i watched the movie many times and so my college attendance suffered!

Thuppaki is first Indian film to have shot with Arri Alexa Camera.. Few Hollywood movies like Hugo ,Final destination 5 ,Extremely loud has been already shot with this camera..
